The issue of heavy metals contamination environmental segments is becoming serious day by with industrial and electronic developments. Economic growth are parallel in many aspects. For instance, increased number vehicles rapid industrialisation indicators economic growth. run important shall continue because it associated global needs while pollution otherwise. Necessary steps required to be taken control the release unwanted chemicals including arsenic environment. Arsenic present water both its organic inorganic form. Among these forms (As(III) As(V)) very toxic. WHO has recommended a threshold limit for As(III) drinking i.e. 10 ppb (equivalent ?g L?1 or 133 nM). Sensing been made possible due several techniques wide range detection limit. Herein recent sensors below ppb, mechanism at certain instances, interferants during measurements future goals have discussed. Further, review article covers literature mostly from 2015 2021.
